Pandai Sikek



Pandai Sikek known as the carving craft center and Songket woven fabrics. Pandai Sikek located at the foot of Mount Singgalang about 10 miles before entering the city of Bukittinggi with beautiful scenery. Here we can see the life of a traditional farming community. The village has 1000 looms fruit. Painting wood furniture is also made here.

Sikuai Island



Sikuai Island, an island located on the west side of the island of Sumatra is located only about a half mile northeast of the city of Padang and can be achieved using a special transport ship and takes about 35 minutes left of the pier airud Bungus. Visitors can stay at the island resort facilities that include two-star hotel. The resort provides 21 units cottages with a capacity of about 45 rooms. Besides enjoying the beauty of the coastal and marine tourism, trekking around the island or explore the natural forest to climbing can also be done by visitors who love nature adventure.

Langkisau Hill


Langkisau hill has an altitude of 1,000 feet, located between the Village and Town Painan-Salido South Coast. Besides being able to enjoy spectacular views of the sea, the hills Langkisau also used as a sports kite flying with its landing on the beach or beach Carocok Salido.

Cubadak Island

Cubadak Island is one of the islands in the Mandeh - South Coast who has managed to be an international attraction by investors from Italy. Morning Dew

Before reaching Maninjau Lake we will pause at Morning Dew in the village of Padang Arena 24 km from Bukittinggi to enjoy the cool and comfortable while looking Maninjau beauty with blue waters and surrounded by verdant hills.
Ngalau Beautiful

Two miles before entering the town from the direction Bukitinggi Payakumbuh we'll get to a natural cave with stalagnit and stalagmites on the cave ceiling is quite interesting. In the cave, we will hear the sound of bats flying around us and feel without being able to see it. Outside the cave we will enjoy the garden with shady trees add to the coolness and beauty of nature.

Pagaruyung Castles

The palace was built by the royal family that has Batusangkar Pagaruyung in typical Minangkabau. In the palace there are relics of the kingdom which is still well preserved. Around this palace, we can enjoy the beauty of nature with the cool air. A Pagaruyung castle is located in the district of Tanah Datar Golden Horn. Pagaruyung is the location of the residence of the King of Minangkabau as the center of government. House just now is there is a replica of the original castles with paintings on the outside walls and roof of the towering shape of buffalo horns.

Valley Harau


It is a nature reserve with a steep limestone hill with a height of 100 to 150 m, located 14 km from Payakumbuh. Here also encountered five waterfalls are always devotes its clear water. In this place for camping facilities are also available for tourism activities surrounding youth and nature reserves along the path. Planned nature reserve will be the first wildlife park outside of Java.

Amazing Palces


Still in West Sumatra that has some beautiful places. We will look the different view that so amazing places,,, Let’s check it out!!!

Clock Tower/ Jam Gadang
 

Clock Tower is a tower building towering majestically, distinctive Minangkabau roof, located in the town of Bukittinggi. Clock Tower is a landmark and symbol of the city of Bukittinggi, built on a hill called the Mount Enclosure Buffalo at the time of the Dutch Government in 1827 by Contraleur (Secretary) Rook Maker.
From the top of the tower we can enjoy and see how beautiful nature around the town of Bukittinggi is decorated Mount Merapi, Mount Singgalang, Mount Sago and Sianok Canyon. In addition, the Clock Tower is also useful as a guide for communities to know the time. It is unique in the Clock Tower is the number 4 is written IIII.

De Kock Fort

The fort was built on the summit in the city of Bukittinggi in 1825 at the time of the uprising led by Tuanku Imam Bonjol and Nan Salapan Tigers against the Dutch. Around this fort, we can still see the ancient cannon XIX century AD period. The place has been decorated with a spacious garden as a place to watch the height, Sianok canyon and surrounding hills are ancient cannon and fort building. This is the best place in Dublin watching Sunset.

Tri Arga Build/ Bung Hatta Palace


The building is located in Dublin's city center during an emergency rule before the Republic of Indonesia in 1947. It is caused by aggression Dutch want to divide our nation. To commemorate the services of Bung Hatta, the building was renamed the Tri Arga Bung Hatta Palace.

Japanese Tunnel

Ngarai Sianok

Lake at West Sumatra


There are many tourist attractions in West Sumatra, why I said that??? Because I’d ever go there with my family,,, the tourist attraction in West Sumatra so beautiful. That place is unique and so amazing. You must go there to see for myself, I believe you will be surprise to see that…*_*…

Singkarak Lake

Singkakrak Lake is the largest lake in West Sumatra with a length of 21 km, located on the edge of the highway Padang Panjang - Solok. Around the lake there are several places to rest and relax, and there is also a variety of facilities canoe, boat and hotel. There is also a facility to surround the lake with a beautiful view.

Maninjau Lake

Maninjau Lake is quite beautiful and charming, located approximately 36 km from the town of Bukittinggi, can be reached by passing through a winding road known as winding 44 (winding-Ampek Ampek). Available facilities in this lake for swimming, fishing, water bike is quite exciting and there are also hotels and home stays are quite representative.


Above the Lake and the Lake Below

Above the Lake and the Lake Below is two lakes known as the Twin Lakes. Both lakes are located in the village of Simpang Market, District Lembayang Jaya district. Solok, located approximately 47 km from the city of SMF and 56 km from the city of Padang. The uniqueness of the twin lakes is to get to the lake on top, we have to go through that path to get to the lake decreased while Below, we have to go through a climbing path. Around the lake planted passion fruit with a sweet taste, vegetables, and potatoes.
