Mount Dempo

Mount Dempo is the highest mountain in South Sumatra, which is 3195 meters above sea level. The mountain is included in the Bukit Barisan mountain range that has two peaks, namely Mount Dempo and Mount Merapi.  Mount Dempo is located about 310 kilometers west of the city of Palembang. To achieve this mountain, visitors can use a private vehicle or bus to the city Pagar Alam about 7 hours, then visitors can head to Mount Dempo, located about 15 kilometers to the tea factory PTPN III. from this point forward visitors will travel through the path to the top of Mount Dempo. There are some facilities if the visitors want to stay like, villas, motels, and food stalls around the base of the mountain.
From a certain height that visitors can see the green carpet of tea gardens. If you look further then the end will look Pagar Alam city. This beauty will be much more beautiful when seen at night time because it will terlihan sparkly lights that decorate the city Pagar Alam.
